Udupi: BJP won spreading fake news in coastal region - Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Jun 27: "Congress regained power in the state due to the anti-BJP wave of the public. This has increased the confidence of the party. People were sick of the rising prices, extreme corruption, and the insolvency of morality. Even though the people of Karnataka have given power to Congress, BJP has not realized its mistake. We have to get ready for the forthcoming taluk panchayat and zilla panchayat elections by effectively implementing the five guarantees of the Congress," said Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, district Congress president, at the meeting held at Congress Bhavan in the city.

Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said, "Though Congress party candidates won in most of the seats in Karnataka, in the coastal region, BJP was victorious by spreading false propaganda. Though our party candidates were close to victory, at the last moment, BJP blackmailed people with religious sentiments. In the coming elections, let us create awareness among the public."

Former minister Abhay Chandra Jain and party leaders M A Gafoor, Muniyal Uday Kumar Shetty, Veronica Cornelio, B Narasimha Murthy, Neerekrishna Shetty, Bhujanga Shetty, Dinesh Hegde Molahalli, Kushala Shetty, Bipin Chandrapal Nakre, Hiriyanna, Mahabala Kunder, Ismail Atradi, and Pradeep Kumar Vandse introspected the defeat of Congress in the coastal region.

Tributes were offered to Bhaskar Kotian, Sadashiva Nayak Brahmvara, Narayana Devadiga, leaders of the party who died recently, by Bhujanga Shetty, Annaiah Serigar, and Madan Kumar.

Malyadi Shivarama Shetty, D R Raju, Naveen Chandra Shetty, Geeta Wagle, Krishnamurthy Karkala, Habib Ali, Sarasu Bangera, and block presidents Hariprasad Shetty, Pradeep Kumar Shetty, Santhosh Kulal, Madan Kumar, Ramesh Kanchan, Dr. Sunita Shetty, Devaki Sannaiah, Roshini Olivera, Jyoti Hebbar, Shabbir Ahmed, Murali Shetty, Prashant Jattanna, Divakar Kunder, Prakhyath Shetty, Yathish Karkera, Harish Shetty, Shashidhar Shetty, Jaya Kumar, Keerthi Shetty, Roshan Shetty, Kishore Kumar, Kiran Hegde, Balakrishna Poojary, Ananda Poojary, Vinaya Ballal, Deepak Kotian, Sukumar, Prasanna Kumar, and Vishwas Shetty were present.

@nithin, Kannadigas are self-esteemed people. They don't fall for free promises. By saying "Kannadigas voted Congress for free bhagya/5 guarantees", BJPigs are insulting Kannadigas. BJP lost due to their corruption and bad governance. Accept it. Dont just blame kannadiga voters
