39% Cong supporters feel Arun Yadav's personal attack on PM will hurt party


New Delhi, Jun 27 (IANS): The ABP-CVoter Opinion Poll has revealed that more than 49.9 per cent respondents believe that Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Arun Yadav's personal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi was akin to scoring a self goal, while 19.8 per cent felt otherwise.

The Opinion Poll was conducted with a sample size of 17,113 between May 26 and June 26, covering all the 230 Assembly seats in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.

The survey posed the question: "Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Arun Yadav made a personal attack on MP Modi. Do you think that Congress leaders score self goals by making such attacks?"

In response to this question, 38.9 per cent Congress supporters said 'yes', whereas 29.4 per cent felt otherwise.Among BJP supporters, 63.7 per cent responded in the affirmative, while 10.1 per cent felt otherwise.

Around 30.3 per cent of the respondents said they cannot comment on the matter.
