Sullia: Praveen Nettaru murder – Accused’s houses to be seized if they fail to surrender by Jun 30

Daijiworld Media Network – Sullia (EP)

Sullia, Jun 28: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials and Sullia police personnel have announced to seize the houses of the absconding accused involved in BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru’s murder case.

Officials were seen announcing on loudspeakers on an auto-rickshaw in Sullia town that houses the accused will be seized if they do not surrender before June 30. They have also promised cash gifts to those who provide clues about the whereabouts of the accused.

It is said that the NIA officials and police personnel had visited accused Ummar Farooq’s house at Kallumuttu, Sullia and another accused Mustafa’s house on Tuesday June 27, to announce the court orders. They also pasted the court notice outside both the residences.

It may be recalled, Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death with lethal weapons in Bellare by a bike-borne duo on July 26 last year.

The leadership of the current, newly elected Govt should intervene and ask NIA to get lost from their State. Its the Muslim votes that were instrumental for the ruling partys victory in 76 constituencies. So its a very fair request.

He is accused, not proven guilty. And if you believe in such an organisation called NIA, who is a puppet , please understand that taking away lands and houses and bringing the family to the street is no constitutional right of any organisation. You are just supporting the wrong as you're blinded
