AAP claims L-G didn't approve Cabinet reshuffle, calls it rumour

New Delhi, Jun 29 (IANS): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) claimed on Thursday that the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, V.K. Saxena, did not give approval for the proposed Cabinet reshuffle.

AAP said that rumours are being spread about Cabinet reshuffle, as it urged the media to avoid falling for them.Earlier in the day, it was reported that the L-G has approved the Cabinet reshuffle proposal sent to him by the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi. Consequently, it was reported that AAP MLA Atishi has been allotted the of finance and revenue portfolios, as well as given the responsibility of the public relations department previously held by Kailash Gahlot. If the L-G office insists on standing by its baseless claims, it should produce a copy of the order of approval or any other relevant evidence to back its claim, AAP said.

No one from the L-G office was available for comments on the matter till the time of filing this report.
