Vastanvi: I Never Praised Narendra Modi

New Delhi, Jul 25: Former Vice chancellor of Darul Uloom Deoband University Gulam Vastanvi who was sacked on Sunday July 24 said in a recent interview with a news channel that he was extremely disappointed that the decision was made against him.

In the interview, Vastanvi denied to have praised Narandra Modi. He said that he was referring to the developments in Gujarat.

Vastanvi also denied allegations of giving Modi a clean chit in the 2002 Gujarat riots.

On being questioned about him being a part of congress, Vastanvi said that he had no intensions of joining any political party in the future.

    funny..anti hindu media never gave importance to this guy when he praised modi..now same media publishing news on himm.such a foolish medias..now every one know that he praised modi even after negative tactics of media..

    any way .. is there any freedom of expression there or only relegious expressin whne it becomes issue for minorities ?
