Man attacked by Leopard in Kundapur, hospitalised

Kundapur, Jun 30: A leopard attacked a man at Kollur near Nagodu (Nittor) check-post past midnight on June 28.

The victim is identified as Ganesh (48). He was seriously injured.

Ganesh heard his dog barking at 2:30 am. When he opened his house door to check, the leopard suddenly pounced on him. His neighbours ran to his rescue after hearing his family members scream. The leopard ran away after people gathered near the house.

Ganesh stays along with his wife and children. He was shifted to government hospital, Kundapur on Thursday for treatment.

Immediately after the attack, the victim had called up the 108 ambulance service. EMT Ragavendra and driver Ashok gave first aid to Ganesh and then they shifted him to the government hospital.

Ganesh is undergoing treatment in the hospital at present.

    kujuma Kodial ,what ?Petta atleast doesnt pounce and take your life .Better petta than leopard.Its wild animal One should not open the door at once.First make sure .If life is gone doesnt come back One can bring a high end dog or country dog if you loose one.Dont take risk .I am sure you are not in favour of a dog.

    FIR must be filed against Leopard under IPC 307 / Attempt to murder ....Byndoor Police need to arrest Leopard and produced before Kundapur Magistrate for trial....Jossey Sir could be Prosecution Prime witness....Wah Bingree Marre....Tak,,,Takk,,,
