Udupi, Jul 1: Kannada music video ‘Pisumathu’ written and directed by Sharath S Poojary Baggathota was released at Bharath Cinemas, Padubidri on June 30.
Lalaji R Mendon, former MLA said who was the guest at the release event of the music video said, “This is the first step of Shubha Shetty Productions in the film industry. There are many artistes who took acting as their career and earned name and fame. Umesh Shetty, though he works abroad, has never forgotten his native. I wish more projects to come under this banner.”
Sanjay Kumar Shetty, a Yakshagana artiste said, “Each and every one gathered here has different talents. But to get that talent into light, we must work hard. ‘Pisumathu’ is the first step of Shodhan, I wish him and his team to find more success.”
Umesh Shetty said, “The project was started in the year 2020, but due Covid, the music video could not be released. Shodhan Shetty always wished to build his career in the film industry. Hence, we all supported him. He was guided by many people to start his career in the film industry and he went according to their advice. We have planned to release a movie under the same banner. Audience is our asset. I wish a full-hearted support from the audience.”
Shodhan Shetty talking about the people who supported him said, “I appreciate the hard work of editor Raviraj Ganiga. I met him in 2019 and from then, he has always supported me. Prasad K Shetty, according to me, is the best music director. For three years, we wrote together more than eight songs and the final result is before you. Now every month, different songs will be released on our YouTube channel. A movie will also be released in September-October. I thank director Sharath for investing his valuable time on this song. Suraj guided me how to build my career in the film industry. My father and brother are my big support. I will always take their advice.”
The event was started by lighting the lamp, and the poster of the new production house Shubha Shetty Productions was released by Lalaji R Mendon.
The music video was shot under the production banner Shubha Shetty Productions, produced by Umesh Shetty and Dhanraj Shetty. The lead characters in the song are played by Shodhan Shetty as the male lead, and Niriksha Shetty and Sarvika as the female leads.
The music is composed by Prasad K Shetty, lyrics written by Pratap Bhat, male version sung by Nihal Tauro and female version sung by Dealle D’Souza. The DOP is handled by Sandeep and editing is done by Raviraj Ganiga.
