Kasargod, Jul 1: Two youths, who got down to have bath in a pond, drowned at Mogral Koppala on Saturday Jul 1.
The deceased are identified as Naseem (22) and Naadil (17), sons of Khader, resident of Manjeshwar Majibail.
Though locals tried and rescued the brothers from pond and rushed them to the hospital, they could not be saved.
Mortal remains are kept in mortuary of taluk hospital at Mangalpady. Kumble police registered a case in this connection.
