Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Jul 2: A couple disguised as customers visited a jewelry shop on GHS Road in the city and managed to steal a golden chain before making their escape.

On Friday around 4:45 pm, a couple conversing in Hindi and English entered the shop and inquired about the quality, Hallmark certification, and prices of various golden ornaments. They even finalized the purchase of two golden ornaments, assuring the shop staff that they would retrieve the money from an ATM machine. However, they failed to return within a reasonable timeframe.

Owner should have been smart enough to insist on online payment; in fact, he should have got a doubt when the robbers asked to go to the ATM to withdraw cash!!

Rudolf sir, this fraudsters will mesmerize you in such way (divert your attention with some silly thing , which is not related to the work), you wan't even realise, as your mind is occupied with too many things. It can be avoided only if your are concentrating the job in hand through out, which is humanly impossible.

Cliffy, it's not mesmerizing but a well orchestrated attention diversion trick made by a gang of individuals which include women and small children; they confuse you in such a way by their actions, including the child crying by which time one of the gang members flicks the items! Mesmerism also called hypnosis is done by giving a series of commands and touches in a controlled environment!
