‘Buy or threaten’, BJP’s SOP: AAP

New Delhi, Jul 3 (IANS): AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak on Monday said that BJP follows a specific Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in which they first attempt to buy MLAs and if the MLAs cannot be bought they topple the government by threatening them with ED-CBI.

“BJP first attempts to create a rift among opposition parties to form the government. When they fail, they indulge in horse trading. An audio-clip had also surfaced in Karnataka, which was pertaining to buying the MLAs. Their third weapon is central agencies. They unleash CBI, ED, IT, NIA on MLAs,” Pathak said.

He said that those who joined the BJP in Maharashtra were facing prosecution in the form of either CBI or ED. He said that the BJP blackmails leaders and then inducts them into the party.

“They tried everything in Delhi; they attempted to buy our MLAs. They also have lodged two of our ministers in jail with the help of CBI and ED, but our MLAs didn’t give up. Their ‘Operation Lotus’ always fails in Delhi,” Pathak said.

It is a very well know fact that BJP is playing crooked ways to gain power. If they lose power in 2024, then same ways to be used against them and ruin them forever.

Manish Sisodia is the living victim of BJP’s ‘Buy or Threaten’ SOP. For more than 3 months Sisodia is in CBI custody for investigation and grilling but nothing has been extracted from him. It’s common sense even for court to intervene and check on the status report of such a lengthy investigation and demand for evidence and proof presented to the court from CBI to continue the grilling. But courts are supporting to continue with grilling at the behest of the centre. Centre is holding Sisodia’s family members and his own life at stake till he gives in to BJP’s demand to topple Delhi govt which is not happening by Sisodia hence this intense negotiation with Sisodia by CBI under custody going on. Ajit Pawar gave in, Shinde gave in and many others but Sisodia is a tough cookie to crack.
