Motion poster of Leonilla starrer ‘Hejjaru’ first ever parallel love story released

Mangaluru, Jul 6: The motion poster of Leonilla Shwetha D’Souza starrer Kannada movie ‘Hejjaru’ was released on July 5. The movie is directed by debutant Harsha Priya under the banner Ramji Productions.

Hejjaru is a first ever parallel love story in Kannada film industry.

Leonilla is paired with Abhi Alva along with senior actors like Aruna Balraj, Naveen Krishna and Gopal Krishna Deshpande. The post production work of Hejjaru is underway and the movie will be released soon. Hejjaru is completely shot across Beltangady and Bengaluru.

Music is composed by Poornachandra Tejaswi.

Leonilla had a dream debut in Kannada and Hindi films with ‘Kasagi Putagalu’ and ‘Y’ respectively. She will be seen in an upcoming project helmed by Raj B Shetty which is a dream come true, says Leonilla.

She further says, “Hejjaru is a parallel love story with love element as well. I play a character named Janaki who is matured and independent girl coming from a middle class family. She has love interest with Bhagat. I play a performance oriented character in the movie. Hejjaru story comes with two eras, the 1960’s and 2000s.”
