Mangaluru: JMFC court convicts two in separate cases

Mangaluru, Jul 10: The third JMFC court of the city sentenced two accused to six months and four months in prison in separate cases.

In the first case, Ibrahim Kudroli was sentenced to six months rigorous imprisonment in a case related to NDPS and slapped a fine of Rs 10000 by justice Thara K C. If the convict fails to pay the fine he has to undergo further simple imprisonment of one month. The charge sheet was filed by Vanajakshi. Ravish Naik was the complainant and assistant public prosecutor Nethravathi argued for the prosecution.

In the second case, Mohammed Mustafa, resident of Talapady was sentenced to four months of simple imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs 2500 for a case registered under IPC 509. The complaint was filed by Aithappa, ASI. The charge sheet was filed by PSI Krishna B. Assistant public prosecutor Nethravati argued for the prosecution.
