Mangaluru, Jul 10: On Sunday, July 9 the 'Graha Jyothi' online registration programme was organized at Bajjodi Church Hall.
The programme began with a prayer song led by ‘Ayog’ members. The programme was inaugurated by Fr Dominic Vas, the parish priest of Bajjodi parish accompanied by Arun John D’Souza, the proprietor of “Mangalore Digital Seva Kendra”; Prakash Saldanha, PPC vice president; Elizabeth Pereira, PPC secretary and Ronald Goveas, the Ayog Sanchalak.
Arun John D’souza in his speech said that the present congress government has introduced many schemes for the poor and middle class. We are ready to offer our services for online registration of the schemes. Hence, you are welcome to avail these facilities.
Fr Dominic Vas opined that many people and especially, the Christians are very slow in availing the government schemes. Hope in future we will avail these benefits.
Throughout the day many people came for the online registration of 'Graha Jyothi'. The inaugural programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Irene Pinto.
