Surat: Karnataka Samaja Surat releases two books by Anita P Thakode

Surat, Jul 10: Karnataka Samaja Surat held their annual Tulu Parba programme at Jeevan Bharati auditorium, Surat on July 9 presided over by president of Tulunada Aisiri Vapi, Balakrishna S Shetty. Two books written by Anita P Thakode, chief guest of the programme were released by Karnataka Samaja Surat president, Manoj C Poojary on the occasion.

Nivalisi Bitta Koli, one of the books, is a collection of 18 stories. Dr Vishwanath Karnad has written the foreword for the book published by Sneha Enterprises. Local train, another book, consisting of a collection of articles, is about the life in Mumbai. Mumbai University retired professor Dr Taltaje Vasanth has written the foreword for the book.

Tulu Sangha Baroda president Shashidhar Shetty, Radhakrishna Shetty, Vasanth Shety, Jayanth Shetty, Sunita Shetty, Sadhu Poojary, Shivaram Shetty, Harish Shetty, Navin Shetty, Prabhakar Shetty, Kosamba Prabhakar Poojary, Bhoja Safaliga and Arun Shetty were on the dais.

Karnataka Samaja president Manoj C Poojary, secretary Radhakrishna Moolya, joint secretary Shanti D Shetty and office bearers helped for the success of the programme.
