New Delhi, Jul 27: After coming under fire for all the allegations of corruption against it, it is now Congress' time to give back to BJP, after Karnataka Lokayukta submitted his report directly indicting state chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Wednsday, July 27.
Congress leader Ahmed Patel took little time to retaliate to the BJP leadership which had termed the Manmohan Singh government as the 'most corrupt in Independent India' after the 2G scams rocked the nation.
On Wednesday, Ahmed Patel hit back saying that the Rs 16,000 crore corruption in mining in Karnataka alone proved that the Yeddyurappa-led Karnataka government was the most corrupt in the history of Independent India.
A major political tussle is expected not only in Karnataka but also in the entire country after the explosive report submitted by N Santosh Hegde, the Lokayukta who is due to retire from his post on August 2.
