Mangaluru/Goa: The Urology Society of India (USI) and its esteemed Youth Organization hosted the highly anticipated 4th Youth Conclave, a two-day event held on July 8 and 9, at Hilton Resorts in Goa. This momentous event, inaugurated by distinguished council members of USI, brought together renowned urologists, residents, and industry experts for a profound exploration of the latest advancements in the field of urology.
The inaugural session witnessed the presence of luminaries in the field, including Dr Sanjay Kulkarni, president of USI, and Dr B M Zeeshan Hameed, the chairman of the 4th Youth Conclave. Notable personalities such as Dr Laxman Prabhu, secretary of USI, treasurer Dr Pankaj Maheshwari, Dr Lalit Shah - president-elect of USI, and past president Ravindra B Sabnis, immediate past president of USI, graced the occasion, lending their expertise and support.
The esteemed Youth Council of USI, comprising Dr B M Zeeshan Hameed, chairman of the YOU Group and head of the Department at FMMC Mangaluru, Abhishek Singh, chairman-elect Karthikeyan Naganathan, Syed Zahid Raza, Aditya Sharma, Milap Shah, Ravi Jain, Debanga Sarma, and Abhijit Patil, also attended the inaugural session, adding youthful vigor and novel perspectives to the event.
B M Zeeshan Hameed warmly welcomed the attendees and set an encouraging tone for the conclave through his address focusing on the overall development of more than 2,500 YOU Urologists and emphasizing discipline and patient care.

Throughout the conclave, which was conducted at Hilton Candolim Goa, over 400 attendees engaged in thought-provoking discussions, enlightening scientific sessions, and captivating lectures delivered by esteemed speakers from the urology community. The event encompassed a diverse range of specialties, including Uro-Oncology, Endo Urology, Reconstructive Urology, Andrology, and Women in Urology.
Highlighting the practical aspect of the conclave, live hands-on training sessions were conducted on cutting-edge techniques such as Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) and Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS). These sessions provided delegates with invaluable opportunities to enhance their surgical skills and gain firsthand experience with the latest advancements in urological procedures.
