Shakthi scheme and all other freebies will have fatalities like all other "schemes" of Siddu and politics of throwing freebies. Somebody will have to pay. Rupesh paid it the hard way. One one side you set targets for selling addiction and on the other hand, you suck from where one could pay. This is time tested economical experiment doomed to fail, but Siddu is giving a new experience with it. Majority voted for him.

May his soul Rest in Peace. Alcoholism is a disease. Even I was addicted to Alcoholism and prostitution when i was in the middle east. It took me a lot of will power and counselling to come out of it.

From where do these people get hold of such deadly chemicals? Is it freely available in the black market? Isn't there a restriction to obtain it?

We people of Karnataka, who lived through Cynide Mohan case, are very well aware about how goldsmiths are associated with the substance. Unfortunate that the very tradesman used his tool to end his life.

BD, VHP, RSS, BJP who scream Hindu katre me he, where are you guys when one of your own is suffering and needs help - be in medical, phycological, counselling, spiritual or monitory? There are institutions like AA - Alcoholic Anonymous where scores people get guidance to overcome addiction of all sorts. If this gentle man had taken that recourse, he would have been alive today.

Agree. Hope the community comes out of its rigid customs and builds another family than pushing her into widowhood and the child as an orphan.
