Kundapur, Jul 14: A newly wed bride, who got married on May 21 of this year, eloped with her paramour on June 16, along with gold ornaments.
Sampigedi Sanketh Shetty (31), husband of the eloped bride and a resident of Ullooru-74 village, has filed a complaint in this regard. He has accused his wife Spoorthi Shetty, resident of Kundapur Vaderahobali of eloping with her paramour Naveen Mysuru. This incident occurred on June 16 but the complaint is filed on July 12.

Sanketh Shetty and Spoorthi got married on May 21 this year. She was at her in-laws’ house only for four days. She was going to her parents’ house often. She used to speak to her paramour every day on video call. Though her husband Sanketh was objecting to Spoorthi’s relation with her paramour, she was not bothered, it is said. She used to openly say that she was not interested in marrying Sanketh and she will marry Naveen.
Sanketh Shetty says that Spoorthi’s parents Satish and Sujatha Shetty and uncle Ashoka Shetty knew about her affair with Naveen and they kept the same a secret and got him married to her.
Sanketh accused that Spoorthi has taken a diamond necklace worth Rs 10 lac, diamond earrings, diamond finger ring, a gold chain, gold bangles and gold necklace of Sanketh’s mother. When Sanketh objected, Spoorthi said that she will file a case of harassment on him and in-laws and send everyone to prison.
A case is filed in this regard in Shankaranarayana police station.
