Dozens Feared Drowned in Congo Boat Accident


Kinshasa, Jul 29 (IANS): Dozens of people were feared drowned after the collision of two boats in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Xinhua reported Thursday.

The accident occurred on the Tshuapa river in the country's Equateur province, officials said. One of the boats was carrying about 200 people. Many of them swam ashore. No further details were immediately available.
