Mangaluru, July 16: In a fortunate turn of events, three individuals narrowly escaped a potentially fatal accident when the car they were traveling in collided with an electricity pole on the divider.
The incident occurred late Friday night near Circuit House in the city's Kadri Battagudda area.
The accident took place at approximately 12:30 am when the car was descending from Circuit House towards Bejai.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collide with the electricity pole at a high speed, resulting in the pole being severed. The car was at risk of plunging into a nearby gorge, but miraculously, it became lodged in the bushes, saving the lives of the three occupants.
The Kadri traffic police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
