Mangaluru: Three arrested, cases filed against five for Matka gambling

Mangaluru, Jul 20: Police conducted a raid when matka gambling was in progress at Lingappayyakadu, Karnad grama, Mulki, and took three accused into custody while registering cases against five individuals involved in this activity.

The accused have been identified as Basavaraja, Malasiddappa, Bhimaraya, Navin, and Bande Nawaz. Among them, the police have taken Basavaraja, Malasiddappa, and Bhimaraya into custody.

The raid was conducted based on specific information provided by the public. As part of the operation, the police have confiscated Rs 1,680, which was collected for gambling, and are currently conducting further investigations.
