Mangaluru, Jul 22: “As many as 25,000 teachers have been transferred through online process. We will also likely recruit 13500 permanent teachers. As this matter in the court, the process is getting delayed,” said minister of primary & secondary education and Sakala, Madhu Bangarappa.

Addressing media here on Saturday, July 22, he said, “People of Karnataka have given a good mandate to the Congress in the recent elections. There is a change in state politics. The Congress is giving good administration under the leadership of chief minister Siddaramaiah and deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar. The Congress government is implementing various programmes for the economically poor.”

Slamming BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, he said, “Nalin tried to win elections on the emotions of people. But people of the state taught him and the BJP a right lesson. In future, the Congress will win parliament and local body elections.”

He further said, “The government has planned to provide chikki, egg and banana twice in a week from class 1 to 10.As many as 25000 teachers are getting transferred within different districts. This is taking place online.”

He also added that the government will be appointing as many as 13,500 teachers in the upcoming days.

“The State Education Policy will be implemented after discussion with educational experts. We have brought minute change in the syllabus and have not changed the syllabus entirely so that the students do not face any problems. In the coming days, we will completely review the syllabus and keep only essential lessons for the career of students. There will be done without any political intention,” he said.

He also said that the state government is working to help grow the government schools.

Hope they will do as promised ,not to remain only a promise.Secod their pending salaries should be paid immediately.Third this transfering teachers should be stopped.First of all school children who have kept faith in certain teachers teaching will be lost .Thats not good for children .Second even for teachers it is very uncomfortable to leave one place and family and go to unknown place.Their wishes also be considered.

This process can wait. If the pending outstanding salaries of teachers is unpaid, please give priority to this before you proceed with transferring through online process or likely recruitment of 13,500 permanent teachers. This process needs urgent attention.
