Mangaluru, Jul 22: Ullal station police raided a Matka den on a private land at Thokottu and arrested five men for Matka gambling.
The arrested are identified as Lancy Veigas, Nawaz, Sathish Gatti, Nasir and Madhu alias Manu.
Rs 7,040 cash, five mobile phones and the items used for gambling were seized by the police from the arrested.
The operation was conducted under guidance from Ullal inspector Sandeep by sub inspector Santhosh Kumar, staff Anand, P C Ashok and Riaz on directions from police commissioner Kuldeep Jain.
