Mangaluru, Jul 23: A peculiar incident unfolded at a petrol pump in Kavoor, where a car driver pumped a full tank of petrol and made a quick getaway without settling the bill.
On July 20, at 11:19 pm, a blue Renault car pulled up at the Kavoor petrol pump. The driver requested a full tank of petrol to be filled. Once the fuel tank was filled, the driver abruptly sped away at high speed, leaving behind an unpaid bill of Rs 4100.
Notably, the car did not display any registration number plates both at the front and rear. The Kavoor police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
