Incessant rains - Taluk administration declares holiday to schools in Kadaba, Bantwal on Jul 24

Kadaba/Bantwal, Jul 24: Anganwadi, primary and high schools were declared holiday on July 24 by Kadaba tahsildar due to incessant rains.

Taluk administration of Bantwal too declared holiday on July 24 to Hayatul school Goodina Balli, lower primary school Valavoor, Sharada and SLNP Panemangaluru, LCR Kakkepadvu, KPS Montepadavu, Kunil school Thumbay, BA kannad and English medium school, Perlabiyapade school, Sarapadi primary school, Hegade school, Poopadi Katti school, Daddalkad, Ermal Padavu Majlis school.

In addition, Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner (DC) Mullai Mugilan has ordered the tahsildars of Beltangady, Puttur, Bantwal and Sullia taluks to announce holidays to schools locally assessing the rain situation. The DC also said that the situation does not demand declaring holidays for all schools throughout the district.
