Bantwal: Two injured as garbage truck collides with auto rickshaw

Bantwal, Jul 24: A municipal garbage truck heading from the municipality towards the main road of Bantwal collided with an auto rickshaw traveling from B C Road towards Bantwal at high speed on Monday, July 24.

The impact of the collision resulted in serious injuries to two passengers, including a woman, affecting their eyes, face, and chest.

They were immediately taken to a private hospital in Mangalore for treatment.

    Private hospital in Mangalore for treatment. Why? Father Muller Hospital is nearby in Tumbhe .... they could've been admitted here instead? Why Mangalore? Is there a dearth of hospitals in B. C. Road?
