Mangaluru, Jul 25: The Institute of Engineering and Technology and Institute of Computer Science and Information Science, Srinivas University organized day-long virtual national conference on the topic 'Future Trends in Information Communication and Computing Technology' (NCFTICCT-2023), on July 22.
The virtual inauguration held at 10.00 am. Dr K Karibasappa, principal, Nehru College of Engineering and Research, Thiruwilwamala, Thrissur was the chief guest of the inaugural session.
He pointed out the Importance of conducting a conference in future trends in artificial intelligence and quantum computing to research students. The conference abstract book was virtually released jointly by chief guest, Dr K Karibasappa and Dr P S Aithal, vice-chancellor, Srinivas University.
Dr P S Aithal, was president of the inaugural function. He explained the 12 underlying technologies of information communication and computing technology. Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, honourable chancellor, Srinivas University, Dr A Srinivas Rao, honourable pro-chancellor, Srinivas University, Vijayalakshmi R Rao, director, Srinivas Group of Institutions, Mithra S Rao, secretary, A Shama Rao Foundation, were blessed the inaugural function with their presence. Dr Anil Kumar, registrar, Srinivas University, Dr Thomas Pinto, dean of institute of Engineering and Technology, Srinivas University, and prof Subrahmanya Bhat, dean of Institute of Computer Science and Information Science, Srinivas University, were present at the inaugural session.
Dr P S Aithal, vice-chancellor, Srinivas University, Dr Venugopal P S, professor and head, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, NMAMIT, Nitte, Karkala, and colonel Dr J Satpathy, visiting professor, Management University of Africa, Nairobi, and research professor, Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, delivered the keynote address on ICCT Underlying Technologies for fulfilling human needs, wants and desires, future trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and emerging trends in neuro management respectively. Around 56 papers related to the conference theme were presented by scholars from different parts of the country which includes faculty members and research scholars of Srinivas University also. The research papers are presented in multiple tracks. The session was chaired by the eminent professors from the computer science and Engineering department of Srinivas University.
