Kasargod: Nigerian, a prime accused in MDMA drug supply from Bengaluru held

Kasargod, July 27: The police team under the leadership of DySP C K Sunil Kumar have arrested the prime accused in the supply of MDMA drug from  Bengaluru which is the hub of this activity.

The arrested is identified as Nigeria resident Moses Monde (33). He was escorted from Bengaluru to Kasaragod on Thursday, July 27 in the morning.

SP Dr Vaibhav Saxena said that a gang of drug peddlers had been supplying drugs to Kasaragod district several times under Moses Monde's leadership and the police team got wind of vital clues of their drug trade.

“Bengaluru police had registered a case against Moses Monde for supplying Cocaine and that he had started trading in MDMA drug after getting released on bail,” said the SP.

A girl by name Hafsat Rianat, a Nigerian national was arrested in connection with the confiscation of MDMA drug at Bekal police station limits in April this year. The police obtained details from her, conducted an inquiry and arrested the mastermind of the trade.
