Kasargod: Culinary expert dies after falling into unprotected well

Kasargod, Jul 27: A culinary expert, met with a fatal accident when he fell into an unguarded well at Katukukke, Kadthadka, near Perla, close to his residence on Thursday, July 27 evening.

The deceased is identified as Janardhan Nayak (42).

It is suspected that he slipped and accidentally fell into the well while attempting to draw water during the evening hours.

When he did not return home, his wife and child became concerned and informed the neighbors. The local residents, along with diving experts, aided in retrieving his lifeless body.

Following the incident, the Badiadka police conducted an inquest and subsequently transferred the deceased to the Kasargod general hospital morgue. After the post-mortem examination, the body will be handed over to the family of the deceased.
