Daijiworld Media Network – Malappuram (MS)

Malappuram, Jul 28: A group of 11 women civic workers of Parappanangadi city municipality of Malappuram district have become lucky. In the Kerala state lottery draw that was held two days ago, they won Rs 10 crore Monsoon Bumper lottery.

Each one had put Rs 25 to buy the ticket. The winners include Kuttimalu, Baby, Shobha, Parvati, Radha, Laxmi, Leela, Bindu, Sheeja, Chandrika and Katyayani.

Radha who bought the ticket said, “Earlier we had planned to buy the ticket with only nine people. However, the money was not enough to buy the ticket which cost Rs 250. Hence, 11 of us got together and purchased the ticket.

“We were facing outstanding loan repayment, cost of marriage of children, expenses of hospital and medical treatment. Now with this money we can get relief,” she said.

The ticket bearing number MB 200261 has been handed over to Punjab National Bank, Parappanangadi branch.

Feel happy for them. They really deserve this, instead of a rich winning.

Kerala displays wealth they have with everybody working in the Gelf (their pronunciation). We have got a third class neighbour with us in Kerala just like Pakistan. Still they come shamelessly to Mangalore with a begging bowl for medical, job (snatching unemployment from our local masses), education etc. As if that is not enough, they pull trains allocated to us in the guise of population upto their area snatching away all our rights. Time we stood together and vociferously objected to their move.

tomorrow dont blame our beloved CM sir if anyone does not win the lottery . Readers should think twice while commenting on such contents not to unnecessarily drag our CM name into it. Did CM sir ask anyone to buy the lottery? Government wont tell to buy lottery nor it tells that we will make you win if you buy one or ten. no gambling please. plz talk about government schemes only. that is much better...................in the interest of the state and nation.
