Mangaluru, Jul 28: Deputy commissioner (DC) Mullai Mugilan declared holidays for schools and colleges in the district of Dakshina Kannada due to incessant rains. A video congratulating the DC for the decision by students is making rounds on social media.
In the video, a student is seen sitting in an office with many photographs of DC Mullai Mugilan. Another student arrives in the office room and asks the student who is in the photo and also as to why he has stuck so many photos of the same person on the wall. The student replied that he is the DC and he gives us holiday when it rains.
Another student is seen raising slogans in favour of DC saying ‘Zindabad’ to the DC. The video has gone viral on social media.
