Bantwal: Moral policing gone awry - Duo behind bars after striking NIA cop, molesting family members

Daijiworld Media Network – Bantwal (EP)

Bantwal, Jul 28: In a case of moral policing gone awry, two youth courted arrest after unwittingly attacking a police personnal and molesting his family members on July 27 night near B C Road.

The incident unfolded when the officer, associated with the National Investigation Agency (NIA), was walking home with his wife and elder sister. The two assailants waylaid him, questioned, "Are you a Muslim? Where are you taking the Hindu girls?", and made inappropriate remarks about the women's religious backgrounds before resorting to physical assault. The officer filed a complaint, and a case of attempted sexual harassment of a police officer's family and obstruction of duty has been registered at the Bantwal police station.

The accused, identified as Manish Poojary and Manjunath Acharya, residents of Thumbe, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The victim Kumar, who is currently working at the NIA division investigating the murder of BJP worker Praveen Nettaru, lodged the police complaint through the Bantwal DySP office. He revealed that he and his family were residing in the police quarters at B C Road due to his duty assignments. On the day of the incident, he had gone out with his wife and elder sister for dinner at a hotel in B C Road and was returning home when the accused duo standing in front of a wine store on the way started following them.

As dropping the ladies home, when Kumar started was leaving out on a case, the accused stopped the officer, verbally abused him, targeting his misconstrued religion and questioning him about the women accompanying him. Despite clarifying that he was a police officer, they didn't back down.

The situation escalated when the accused attempted to assault the officer physically. They even recorded a video of the officer's wife, who came out of the house hearing the commotion, and allegedly attempted to sexually assault her.

The police promptly responded to the complaint, leading to the arrest of the two suspects, Manish Poojary and Manjunath Acharya.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of law enforcement personnel and their families and highlights the need for stricter measures against such acts of moral policing and violence. Further investigations into the matter are ongoing.

In India, many rich Brahmin and upper caste Hindu women have married Muslim men. To give an example, I write few of these cases. RSS leader Ashok Singhal's daughter, Murli Manohar Joshi's daughter, Lal Krishna Advani's daughter, Advani brother's daughter, Subramanya Swami's daughter, Bal Thackeray's grand daughter, Pravin thogadia's daughter, relative of the RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat, Sheela Dixit's daughter. And many Hindu women have married Muslim film stars, cricketers and rich businessmen. For BD, VHP and other Senas, the above Muslim men are loving Sons-in-Law. Nobody is bothered about that. But, when a poor, middle class Muslim man marries a Hindu woman, it is Love Jihad and he becomes Desh Drohi. Same like cow meat, not tolerated in some places and allowed freely in other states.

Daughters of Murli Manohar Joshi are Priyamvada Joshi and Nivedita Joshi. Neither is married to Shah Nawaz Husseins son , actually Shah Nawaz Hussein's daughter is married to a Hindu Renu Sharma.Advani's daughter Pratibha was married to Kamlesh Thadani both Sindhis, Bal Thakery's relative Neha is married to Dr Manan a Gujarati Hindu, nothing much is known about Dr Praveen Togadia's daughter. Kindly cross check as there is a lot of fake news circulating. Why should we be bothered as to who married who, Miya Bibi Razi, To Kya Karega Kazi....
