Mangaluru: Auto driver accused of harassing minor girl under Pocso Act goes missing

Mangaluru, July 28: A case of sexual harassment of a minor girl under the Pocso Act has been registered against an auto driver at the Konaje police station.

The case was registered against Amblamogaru resident Iqbal who is absconding. The auto driver had allegedly tried to speak to the girl and had acted indecently while she was waiting for the bus.

The girl had informed her parents about the incident that occurred in June. The parents immediately filed a complaint with Konaje police station. The accused who is married has been absconding since the case was registered.

Konaje police are on the look out to find the accused.
