Mangaluru, Jul 29: Srinivas University – Research and Innovation Council organized 'Research Conclave - 23' on July 29 at Hotel Srinivas. It was a get together programme of all the research scholars, guides and deans with the chancellor, pro chancellor, vice chancellor and research administrators of the university.
The programme was inaugurated and presided by honourable chancellor of the Srinivas University Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao. He said, "The researchers should set new theories to the already existing things and they should work hard to achieve standard excellence in their performance which develops the quality of their publications. More materialistic and experimental research should come out for the development of the nation and humanity."
Honourable pro chancellor of Srinivas University Dr Srinivas Rao addressed the gathering and said, "A country with full of research is the country with full of development. We should mobilize and encourage talents all around the nation to overtake other countries globally. Srinivas University contributes about 1 percentage of total Indian publications. We should focus more on practical researches so we may claim more patents."
Vice chancellor of Srinivas University Dr P S Aithal said, "We started our university as a research university in order to contribute to society for its development. Opportunity is given to everyone and we should know to grab that opportunity to achieve in life."
Director of Srinivas University – Research and Innovation council Dr Praveen B M – read the annual research report of the university and give the statistics of the publications, patents and copyrights of the university.
Srinivas University registrar of evaluation Dr Srinivas Mayya, were present.
Srinivas University registrar Dr Anil Kumar welcomed gathering and Srinivas university assistant registrar Dr Jayashree Bolar expressed vote of thanks. Prof Rohan was MC of the programme.
