Moodbidri: Jamiyyatul Falah Distributes Zakat Fund Scholarships

Moodbidri, Aug 1: Jamiyyatul Falah (JF) taluk unit held zakat fund scholarship distribution and education awareness camp at Samaja Mandira, Moodbidri on Saturday July 30.

President of Mudbidri Municipality M Ratnakara Devadiga in his inaugural speech highlighted the efforts of JF in the taluk under the leadership president Hazdulla Ismail.

President of Jamiyyatul Falah DK and Udupi Khaleel Ahmed distributed scholarship to 53 deserving student residing in and around Mudbidri. He urged students to repay the scholarship amount to society when they begin to earn and if they are capable of doing so.

He also asked taluk unit members to utilize the support of municipality president.

President of press club Seetharama Acharya appreciated the efforts put by JF in distributing water to the needy when taluk was facing water scarcity.

Principal of Sri Dhavala College Raveesh Kumar asked students to utilize the opportunity provided by JF.

JF NRRCC chairman S M Jaffer, ex-chairman Shahul Hameed, and Sadakhatulla Faizi among others were present.

An education awareness session was held after the scholarship distribution programme.

Saleem Handel presided over and Hazdullah Ismail welcomed the gathering.

    Good work by JF Moodbidri.Hi,Mr Sherrif MH and H.Ismail.I am a proud permanent member of JF- Belthangady unit.Through out DK/UDUPI districts JF's social service and educational focus towards Muslim youths awarding scholarships for needy and awareness seminars,campaigns are really appreciated.
