Congress Dares Hazare to Contest from Chandni Chowk

New Delhi, Aug 2 (IANS): The Congress Monday dared social activist Anna Hazare to contest from Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency here after the civil society released findings of a survey which said 85 percent people there favoured their version of the Lokpal bill.

"I have heard about his survey... Lok Sabha polls will be held in 2014. (Hazare) can contest from Chandni Chowk. Truth will come out clearly," party spokesperson Manish Tewari told reporters.

Replying to questions on the findings of the survey, Tewari said that whether it is a survey or not, there cannot be tinkering with the structure of the constitution.

Hazare's team carried out a survey on Lokpal bill in Chandani Chowk represented by Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal, saying the survey had been done in Sibal's constituency as he was "the government face of Lokpal bill".

Arvind Kejriwal, a member of Team Hazare, Monday said initial results of the opinion poll showed that 85 percent people favoured the Jan Lokpal bill.

Tewari said Hazare and his friends should have "faith in the wisdom and discretion of Parliament" once the government places the Lokpal Bill in the House.

    You are showing four fingures to others remember, the other one finger shows you only.The man everytime fasts for some reason is never succeeded in Maharashtra and now he gone to Delhi.     Dear Ravi,
    I never said Anna is BJP Agent. May some political party is Using him for thier benefit or Congress may be Supporting him not to Pass this Jan Lokpal Bill. But Anna Now a days Crossing his limits.if he really wants to bring his Jan Lokpal Bill he can call for all party meeting in his capacity and keep his points in front of them. Anna is comparing himself as a Mahatma Gandhi. We have a elected Govt. whether it is a Congy, Bjp or other. Let them do thier work.This jocker each & every time for small issues goes for fasting. May be his Doctors adviced him to do so to maintain his health and he want the reason and this is his Marketing gimmicks. People Know this.

    Anna humorously told that Digvijay Singh should be admitted to mental hospital [pagal khana] for calling him RSS agent.

    Same thing applies to Tony, Lancelot, Ronald, and V A D Silva for their irresponsible comments.

    Anna Hazare's satyagraha is the only hope left for ordinary Janata. Tony, Lancelot, Ronald, and V A D Silva, it is clear from your coments your congi affiliation is talking here, you all don't really care what happens to our country as long as your congi party is ruling.

    THIS MAN CALLED ANNA HAZARE IS JUST FARTING IN THE WATERS. IF HE IS SO SURE ABOUT HIS LOK PAL IS NON-CORRUPTIBLE WHY CAN'T HE FORM A PARTY AND CONTEST THE ELECTIONS AND THEN BRING ABOUT THE REQUIRED CHANGES IN THE POLITY. WE HAVE AN ELECTED DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT WHICH IS IN SESSION AT THE MOMENT AND HIS THREAT OF NON-SENSICAL FAST SHOULD BE CURTAILED TO SAVE LAW AND ORDER SITUATION IN DELHI.

    This Old Jocker Anna, what he want to prove? the Lokpal bill is tabled in Parliment and the same is the highest authority to pass the bill. We have elected governament and they will do the same. Is India will run with this Jockers beats!
