Two Davangare college students end lives after intimate video surfaces

Bengaluru, Jul 30 (IANS): Two students of a private college in Karnataka's Davangare ended their lives after a video depicting them in an intimate moment surfaced on social media.

The scene of the boy and girl at the terrace of their college was shot by some unknown person, without their knowledge.

However, these scenes went viral on social media platforms recently and the families of the two also came to know of the clips.

The girl committed suicide at her residence on Friday night and the boy on coming to know of this took his life on late Saturday night.

Police said that investigation is on regarding the identity of the person who filmed the scene as also those who have circulated it.

Davangare's Superintendent of Police, K Arun told media persons that the police would soon arrest the culprit.

The families of the boy and the girl have already filed separate complaints with the Davangare district police.

    We have a culture which is very good but has not evolved with changing times. In addition to that we have people who think poking nose in other's business is a big adventure. These kind of people are scared or incapable of getting into a relationship with the other gender but can't stand others doing the same. One of these IDIOTs filmed the video and spread it. Arrest this person and let him or her face the law .2 lives lost and 2 families devastated. Even moral police belong to same category.

    mentality of indians is still in the pushaka vimana age...at least things like love, sex should be left alone...it is a natural act...when the people involved are adults and it is done with consent just dont look there..but sanskari people still have not learnt this...according to them even now sex should be done in sugarcane fields...

    The rule of the land?? -Terrace of the college is not a private place so according to IPC 294 it amounts to indecent behavior . By the way students should go to college for studies, what they do in their bedrooms is a different matter.

    I have already filed my returns, I am getting good dividends as well as ltcg not only that I have already received the IT refunds!! The return filing was much easier compared to last year , refunds were quicker.The index will go up further, stay invested in bluechips.

    Suicide is not a solution to any problem.Students in school should be taught that Morally it is wrong to have pre and extramarital relationships and can cause many sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS and Human Papilloma Virus transmission, which causes Cervical(Uterine) cancer.

    Such a stupid action by the person who filmed and surfaced it.She / he must have thought it as a big advt? or get money ?HE/SHE has now case on his name and big fault ,two persons death will trouble all life through .No cavaliers delict.Shame on him/her .Its become a fashion now to film and surface on media.Mobile is a become a good weapon to bad things .May their souls rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to their family.Why should a third person mingle in others love affairs and make it Public.?
