Kundapur, Jul 31: The mortal remains of Suresh (28), son of Kolakehole Mekke, Jadkal village resident Manja who has been missing from his residence since July 23 was found floating in a lake at Hayyangar, near Jadkal on July 29 evening.
Suresh had a habit of staring at the lake for hours from its banks, said a few locals. It is said that he might have been near the lake from the day he went missing. It is suspected that he must have fell into the lake following heavy rain.
Suresh had slept at about 8 pm after dinner with his family members on Saturday July 23 night. He was missing when they woke up the next morning.
It took a while for his family to identify the body.
