Lucknow, Aug 2 (IANS) Five people were killed when a bus ploughed into their van in Uttar Pradesh's Chitrakoot district, police said Tuesday.
The accident occurred late Monday in Mau area of Chitrakoot, 300 km from here, Police Inspector R.P. Gautam told reporters.
"While the driver of the van and four passengers died, the bus driver managed to escape," he said.
The private bus was coming from Allahabad.
