Mangalore: Wall Collapses – Providential Escape for Inmates

Mangalore, Aug 2: The wall of a house located in Kandak area near the office of Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner here crashed due to incessant rains at around 2.30 am on Tuesday August 2.

At the time, five people were sleeping inside the house. Luckily, all of them escaped with minor injuries.

The roof of a neighbouring house, as well as an electric meter of Mescom, were thoroughly damaged in the incident. Total loss in the incident has been estimated at one lac rupees.
