Unable to tolerate his wife being labelled thief, Mangaluru man kills her in Bengaluru

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru/Mangaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Aug 8: A husband brought his wife to Bengaluru from Mangaluru and killed her during her sleep as he was unable to tolerate people calling her a thief. There were allegations of theft against his wife while they were in Mangaluru.

The deceased was identified as Sarita (35). Her husband Tharanath is accused of murdering her. This incident came to light at Whitefield police station limits in Bengaluru. The couple had migrated to Bengaluru from Mangaluru for work. They were selling Panipuri for a living. Both of them were partaking in their daily work. Therefore, they were good to each other in the beginning. However, Tharanath decided to end his life along with the family as allegations of theft did not leave his wife.

Tharanath killed his wife by tightening a noose around her neck while she was asleep. Though he had initially decided to end his life, he could not gather enough courage but instead went to the police station and surrendered himself to the police while confessing to them that he had indeed murdered his wife.

Police who took him into custody escorted him to the spot and conducted an inquest. As the act of murder was established during initial investigations, the police arrested Tharanath.

Whitefield station police are interrogating the accused.

RIP! Perhaps she was suffering from a mental disorder called kleptomania which is one of the component of a larger disorder; obsessive compulsive disorder mixed with depression or bipolar disorder; it can be treated with medications and counselling, perhaps for life!!

That doesn't look like the entire truth, if he was so emotional he would have harmed himself too. Looks like he wanted to kill his wife due to some other reasons.

The sickness is known as kleptomania. People with this sickness steal things which they really have no use.For example a rich used to take a silver spoon and put it in his coat pocket from a dinner party.

Parents bring up & look after their children with so much of love and affection since birth, it takes decades to bring them up with so much difficulty and struggles, but for these people it's easy to kill within minutes. He should have killed himself, why kill others? There is too much gender disparity among the population, despite this killing of women continues in this manner.

What a pity!Husband self killed wife for labelling her by others as a thief ?Instead he could support her to get out of this habit and defend her .May her soul rest in peace. Was it a truth or not thats not the way one goes with own partner.May be she was mentally sick,.Some people do steal things even they dont need it Thats a sickness .Proper treatment with help of home people they do get well.May be she was worrying because she didnt have a child or cant get pregnent?Hope they will find out why she was stealing if at all?
