Staff of Studio Ensure Safe Distance Between Rival Khans

Mumbai, Aug 4: The fact that the famous Khans, Salman and Shah Rukh, abhor each other, is well-known. This came in for evidence in abundance at Mehboob Studios recently. Both the actors were good friends in the past, but their enmity is much fiercer.

Both the cine stars were to shoot simultaneously at the studio. The employees of the studio were well aware that fire works are bound to occur if the two happen to come face to face. Unable to bear the thought of their worst fears coming true, the studio employees worked diligently to ensure that the Khans never see each other during their shooting there. Shah Rukh was shooting for a commercial along with Gauri Khan. The actor’s date for the shooting had been postponed because of his hectic schedule.

The production team, after reaching the studio, came to know that Salman was scheduled to take part in the shooting in the studio later that day. From that point, the workers at the studio worked hard to ensure that the two stars, who do not see eye to eye, do not come across each other as long as one of them leaves. It was a tension-filled day for the team that was shooting for Salman too. It is gathered that Salman was not aware that Shah Rukh was also set to shoot at the same studio that day.

The crew also drew up elaborate plans to ensure that the actors did not face each other after concluding the shooting, said a source. So, the movements of the actors were watched carefully. It is learnt that Salman left an hour after Shah Rukh finished his shooting schedule. Last year too, the two stars were in the same studio for different purposes on a single day, and the studio staff had successfully staved of their face-off even then.
