Mangaluru: Congress govt should come clean on corruption charges - MLA Vedavyas Kamath

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (SS)

Mangaluru, Aug 9: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath has charged that the Congress government should answer all corruption allegations that it has been denying to the people of the state.

He said it was evident that the Congress government is corrupt following the complaints raised by agriculture department officials against the agriculture minister in their letter to the governor.

He said the KSRTC driver may have also ended his life due to similar harassment meted out to him.

He questioned the chief minister who had made claims that corruption will not be tolerated as to how such deals were happening right under his feet.

Kamath alleged that the government is trying to hush up the Udupi college washroom video case and is now carrying out transfer deals instead of concentrating on giving a clean administration. He said on a daily basis there are transfer orders from one department or the other.

The MLA said the government had suspended giving financial grants to the hostel of Rani Abbakka Agniveer Training Centre in Hebri that is run by State Backward Classes Commission. He said employees working in the hostel on a contract basis have not been paid their salaries for the last three months. He said the state government is desperately trying to defame the Agniveer scheme through such measures.

When your party was in the ruling party or double engine you did nothing much for your constituency and what you did was only mess. Now when you are in the opposition can imagine you doing anything for your constituency. Winning on caste and religion otherwise a good for nothing MLA.

A complete govt machinery and institutes like CBI, ED, NIA, IT, Courts, Police are in your pocket and remote controlled by you and act as per instructions and frame false charges on congress and take them for grilling and investigation but still you cry corruption in congress. Surprisingly all are charges will be dropped and clean chit given to them when the arrested opposition leaders join BJP till then you cry foul leaders of congress are corrupt.
