Schoolgirl collapses while singing national anthem, dies before reaching hospital

Chamarajanagar, Aug 9 (IANS): In a shocking incident, an SSLC (Class 10) female student collapsed and died while singing the national anthem in a school in Chamarajanagar district, police said on Wednesday.

The deceased girl was identified as 15-year-old Pelisa, a student of Nirmala school.

The police said that Pelisa collapsed when the morning prayers were happening. Though she was rushed to the hospital, she was declared brought dead.

Pelisa was an orphan and was staying at the hostel.

The body was sent for post mortem and more details are yet to emerge in the case.

The police said that they are yet to record the statements of the management of the school and her friends.

The exact cause of death would be ascertained in the post mortem, police said.

Further investigation is on.

    Until postmortem report comes out no comments. Though these are common happenings all over the world after the rollout of jabs still sceptics are in the dark. But I'm seeing more commentators are joining us these days since 3 years. Rest in peace little angel.

    Shocking.We know what will comeout ,Heartattack.May her soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathies to the parents.May be the hot sun and and her blood pressure went down?Never we heard such attacks on small children .Advice children to drink enough water .Doesnt mean it was the cause .but during hot weather ,children forget to drink during playing.

    Yeah, it's possible but not the real cause. Now after rains the weather is cool in her place and it happened in the morning prayer time which isn't that hot unless it's in afternoon with blazing hot Sun. What you had commented on death of Spandana suits this case suitably as per my assessment until postmortem report comes out.
