Toronto, Aug 10: The Entertainment! Entertainment!! Entertainment!!! with a great humanitarian cause “Singing for Supper” is the mantra of the much-awaited 'Stars Live-In Concert' in Canada. The renowned Konkani TV Canada is getting set for international & Canadian stars studded 'Stars Musical ExSTARvaganza' at the state-of-the-art Rose Theatre, Brampton on August 27.
The upcoming charity event in August 2023 is being made possible with the generous support of renowned organisations such as Konkan Organisation Toronto, Canara World Foundation Inc, Canadian Canara Vision Inc, Tulu Koota Canada, Kannada Sangha Toronto, Grand River Kannadigaru, Konkani Catholics of Brampton, Ontario Konkani Association, and Radio Mango.
In this star-studded “STARS” Musical programme, apart from international star performers like Ajay Warrier, Jacqueline Fernandes, and Elton Nazareth, the Canadian music lovers are going to witness the Canadian Stars of “Mothiyam So’r”. Renowned musician Joyson D’Souza is going to be the music director for this spectacular event.
About Ajay Warrier:
Ajay Warrier, the renowned South Indian singer doesn’t need any introduction! Having trained in Carnatic classical (vocal) with Vidwan Sri T V Gopalakrishnan (TVG) and Vidwan Sri S Shankar, Ajay has had the opportunity of singing in a variety of languages like Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Tulu, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Lambani, Konkani, Sanskrit, Bengali and Arabic. He is indebted to the media across the globe for giving him exposure and the experience in shaping him to be a professional artiste.
Ajay has been bestowed with several awards across the globe. He considers it the utmost honour to have accompanied and recorded with stalwarts like Shri K J Yesudas, Sri Ilayaraja, Sri S P Balasubramaniam, Sri P B Srinivos, Sri Hariharan, Smt Vani Jayaram, Smt S Janaki, Smt P Susheela and Smt K S Chitra to name a few.
Ajay has recorded more than 22,000 songs in 17 languages under leading music directors and lent his voice to several solo and duet numbers for both films and basic albums in Kannada, Tamil, Tulu, and Malayalam under the music direction of Sri Rajan and Nagendra, Jaya Vijayan, M M Keeravani, Hamsalekha, Guru Kiran, Harikrishna, Manikanth Kadri, K Kalyan, Neel, Arjun, Mohan Sitara, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Praveen Rao, etc.
Ajay’s contribution to television and radio is praiseworthy. He has performed in Sangeetha Saagaram aired on Asianet, and hosted a live musical game show for Asianet (Malayalam) and Suvarna (Kannada). He was the anchor for the mega finals of Gandharva Sangeetham (music reality show) for Kairali Television. He was on the judges panel for Sapthaswara, a singing reality show on Kasturi Kannada Television. He performed as a regular singer in various channels like Udaya, ETV, Chandana, Kasturi, Suvarna, Zee Kannada, Asianet, Kairali etc. He has also performed in All India Radio programmes and recordings. About Jacqueline Fernandes:
Jacqueline Fernandes is a highly popular and professional vocalist, pursuing a musical career as a soloist getting classical training in Hindustani vocal singing under the guidance of Sitar maestro Ustad Rafique Khan.
Achievements and Awards:
1. Ex-lead vocalist for the performing musical troupe “Rhapsody” and represented Mangaluru nationally at the acclaimed show on Colors TV namely, “ India’s Got Talent” season 7. Went on to perform up to the semi-finals on the show.
2. Winner of the Title “Ranni Kogull” – Queen Nightingale of Mangaluru at the SOAD- 4 Konkani singing competition organised by Mandd Sobhann in association with Daijiworld 24x7 in May 2015.
3. Winner of The Western Vocal Solo Singing, a cultural fest held by FMMC Mangaluru in October 2014.

About Elton Nazareth:
Elton, a freelancing multi-lingual vocalist from Shankerpura, Karnataka, India, and now currently residing in Canada. He was a star attraction at the KCO Fiesta 2017 (AUH), Mangalurean showers (Blore), Musical Night of Shilpa Cutinho, Maxim Periera, and so on. Sung for various Konkani albums for Krisben Music, Roshan Angelore, Mog Asom 2, God is Love, .
Was the frontman for a couple of shows for the only Konkani rock band & Teetotallers. Sung for different bands from Mangaluru viz., C7, Cosmic rays, Glorius, route 96 and had a band of his own by the name 'Elton and the band' in Mangaluru, India.
Undoubtedly that is going to be a spectacular and unforgettable night of music with international stars and Canadian stars, including the incredible Mothiyam So’r under the dynamic leadership of Sonia Monteiro.
