Udupi: Fisherman reported missing after sleeping on boat

Udupi, Aug 13: A fisherman hailing from Jharkhand, who was sleeping aboard a boat at the Malpe fishing port, has been reported missing.

The individual in question is Lalit Godwar (55). He was employed on a fishing vessel. On August 7, after arriving from his hometown, Lalit settled down to sleep on the boat. However, when morning dawned on August 8, he was conspicuously absent from the vessel.

Lalit is proficient in Hindi and bears a tattoo of his name, "Lalit Godwar," on his left hand. Authorities are urging anyone who encounters Lalit or possesses information about his whereabouts to promptly get in touch with the Malpe police station.
