Mangaluru, Aug 13: A notorious criminal associated with the infamous "Target" gang made an attempt on a man's life by slashing his hand in a dispute over a rented house issue in Nettilapadavu, under the jurisdiction of Konaje police station, late on Saturday night.

The victim, Mansoor (40), is a resident of Nettilapadavu. The assailant, Nameez Hamza, hailing from Kotepura and a member of the notorious "Target" group in Ullal, is currently at large.

The incident unfolded when Nameez Hamza approached Mansoor's relatives to secure a rental house for his brother. However, Mansoor strongly advised his relatives against renting to individuals with criminal affiliations. A heated exchange erupted between the factions associated with Nameez and Mansoor, culminating in Nameez slashing Mansoor's hand in an apparent attempt to take his life.

Nameez Hamza is reportedly an active participant of the "Target" gang, which has been linked to various criminal activities including honey trap operations, the murder of BJP activist Jubair in Mukkaccheri, and several other offenses. Their activities had somewhat subsided after the death of their leader Ilyas. Nameez Hamza is also believed to be involved in multiple offenses attributed to the "Target" gang.

The police have launched a manhunt to track down and apprehend Nameez Hamza.

Law is very soft on these criminals. These criminals should be eliminated from the society. DK has become a hub for criminal activities, illegal activities and also heaven for drugs. The day is not far when DK will become notorious for wrong reasons.

There is a much much bigger list; this Target gang is only a small speck; gang war used to be a daily affair in Mumbai during those times; but fortunately our J. Uncle was so engrossed in his studies that he has no knowledge of any such things, which is really commendable and shows his dedication to focus only on his studies..... one of a kind genius, salute him!!

Dear Ajay, if you want to express yourself do it fully; don't drop some taunts or hints and run away, which are the typical attributes of cowards!! If you don't like to read somebody's comments/essays, kindly ignore them and move on......
