Daijiworld Udupi studio’s most awaited reality show contest 'Daiji Anthyakshari'  launched

Udupi, Aug  14: Known for its unique and creative competitions for the general public and school children in particular Daijiworld Udupi Studio launched “Daiji Anthyakshari”, a first of its kind Anthyakshari competition for the high school students of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.

The launching ceremony of the new show was held in Daijiworld Udupi Studio herein Kadiyali, Udupi on Sunday, August 13.

Maxim Saldanha, Franchise owner and Business Associate of Tanishq Jewellers Udupi, World of Titan, Titan Eye Plus, Helios Titan World inaugurated the programme by releasing the logo of Daiji Anthyakshari.

In his address to the gathering Maxim Saldanha said, “This is a great opportunity to showcase the talents. I would like to thank Daijiworld for providing such a great opportunity to students.”

Suchith Kotian, anchor of the programme said, “Daiji Anthyakshari depends on the interest of the participants. We usually listen to film songs but developing a competition on it is a good initiative. Anthyakshari competitions were seen in TV channels earlier but they were not taken to the next level by television channels. This is a more fun oriented competition. Daijiworld has always kept on developing new thoughts."

Vinay Suvarna, faculty member of St Mary’s English Medium School, Kannarpady expressing his views about the competition said, “Daijiworld Anthyakshari is a novel initiative by Daijiworld Udupi studio. This show will give a meaningful platform to students to exhibit their talents. It encourages the students to sharpen their musical skills. I convey my best wishes to all the participants.”

Teena Mary D’Souza, faculty member of SMS English Medium School, Bramhavar, said, “Daijiworld has organised various programmes in the past as well, which helps the students to showcase their hidden talent and to explore themselves. Daiji Anthyakshri helps students to improve their musical skills and also listening skills.”

Ninada, participant from Milagres English Medium High School, said, “Daiji Anthyakshari is a wonderful programme because as a musical student I have never seen anthyakshari competitions. This will build confidence among students.”

“Daiji Anthyakshari” competition is the brainchild of Kishore Gonsalves, managing director, Kishoo Enterprises. The show is coined with an aim to give a unique opportunity to talented students. As many as 27 schools of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts will be participating in the competition.

The competition will be telecasted as episodes on Daijiworld 24/7 channel very soon. There will be challenging rounds for the students in the competition.  

All the participating students will be awarded with Rs 1,000 worth of gift vouchers sponsored by Helios Titan World Udupi, Titan Eye Plus Udupi, Tanishq Jewellers Udupi along with a participation certificate and a complimentary gift. 

The official mic of Daiji Anthyakshri was handed over to show host Suchith Kotian by Maxim Saldana and Kevin Rodrigues, manager, Daijiworld Udupi Studio, and episode recordings were kick-started.

Student participants, faculty members of schools, parents and office staff of Daijiworld Udupi studio were present during the launch of the programme. Anchor Pragathi Puthran compered the programme.
