Mumbai: Bhandary Seva Samithi holds 70th annual meeting

Mumbai, Aug 14: Bhandary Seva Samithi held their 70th annual general body meeting at Swami Nithyananda auditorium, Sion east on Sunday evening. President of the Samithi Prabhakar P Bhandary inaugurated and presided over the programme.

Secretary of the Sangha, Ramesh Bhandary Povai, treasurer Sheena Bhandary Wadala, advisory committee president, advocate R M Bhandary and ladies wing president Shalini R Bhandary were on the dais.

Vice presidents Shashidhar D Bhandary and Ramanath K Bhandary, joint secretaries Ranjith S Bhandary and Rakesh S Bhandary, ladies wing vice president Jayasudha T Bhandary, secretary Latha Yogesh Thane, management committee members, advocate Shekar S Bhandary, Karunaker S Bhandary, Jayasheela U Bhandary, Rukmaya Bhandary, Keshava T Bhandary, Prema Bhandary, Usha Bhasker, Rajesh S Bhandary, Prakash Bhandary, Rekha A Bhandary, Kshama Ramanna Bhandary, former president, advocate Sundar G Bhandary were present.

Bhandary community members, former officer bearers and members prayed to Kachuru Nageshwara deity before the meeting. Homage was paid to all the Bhandary community members and well-wishers who passed away last year.

Seetarama Bhandary, Dr Kishore Bhandary and Ranjith Bhandary among the audience expressed their opinions and gave suggestions.

Shalini Bhandary sang a prayer. Secretary Ramesh Bhandary Povai welcomed, read previous year’s report and gave details of the annual activities. Treasurer Sheena Bhandary Vadala tabled previous year’s accounts. Purushotham Bhandary rendered a vote of thanks. The meeting concluded after the national anthem.
