Kundapura, Aug 14: “The part of the local administration in the growth of village is immense. It is praiseworthy that the administration is giving priority to the basic facilities in the villages,” said K Jayaprakash Hegde, president of state backward class commission.
He was speaking after inaugurating the new building of Pandeshwar grama
panchayat. “The government should respond to the needs of ordinary people and ensure that their work is conducted swiftly. Pandeshwar grama panchayat has functioned beyond its expectations. The service of each one in this connection is valuable,” he said.
MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi lighted the lamp and symbolically distributed the government facilities.
